In implant dentistry, ALL-ON-4 refers to a treatment technique where ALL replacement teeth are retained and supported ON FOUR dental implants. The technique involves the back implants to be angulated 45º to avoid bone deficiencies resulting from tooth loss yet provide the required support for full arch reconstruction. In the upper jaw, bone graft into the maxillary sinus is not necessary, and in the lower jaw, potential risk associated with damage to nerve/blood vessels is avoided. The overall treatment time is greatly reduced and the final set of FIXED (non-removable) teeth feel natural in comfort, fit, function and appearance.
